Tottenham and Liverpool interested in £30m-rated Lazio forward

Tottenham and Liverpool are interested in signing £30m-rated Lazio forward Keita Balde, reports The Daily Mirror.

The Senegal international is about to enter the final 12 months of his current deal with Lazio and his agent has already revealed there has been no approach about a fresh deal.

Lazio have also agreed a fee with AC Milan but Keita is reportedly holding out for a move to Juventus, who are understood to be interested in his pace with Juan Cuadrado available to leave this summer.

However, Tottenham are among several Premier League clubs also monitoring his situation but they may be forced to pay a premium compared to their Italian rivals given the nature of how English clubs are now handled by foreign clubs.

Liverpool are also understood to be chasing the 22-year-old as they sound out alternative options to Roma winger Mohamed Salah.

Keita enjoyed his best ever season for Lazio last term and now appears destined for a big money move away with relations between club and player souring. In fact, Keita scored six more goals in the league last season (16) than his three previous campaigns combined.
