Inter are weighing up a January loan move for Liverpool outcast Daniel Sturridge, reports Sky Sports.
Sturridge is keen to leave Liverpool this month in order to find regular playing time to boost his chances of making the 2018 World Cup.
The 28-year-old fears Liverpool may price him out of a January move but Inter are interested in exploring the possibility of loaning him until the end of the season.
Sturridge’s hopes of leaving Anfield this month hinge on the future of Danny Ings, who is also looking to find regular playing time elsewhere.
Liverpool will only let one striker leave in January and Ings’ departure would force Sturridge to stay on Merseyside and settle for a reserve role for the rest of the campaign.
Sturridge has only managed 14 appearances in all competitions this season but averages a goal or an assist every 85.6 minutes of action.
