Leicester are interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Juraj Kucka in Januar in a deal worth £8.6m, according to The Daily Express, via Football Italia.
Claudio Ranieri has failed to find a suitable replacement for N’Golo Kante, who joined Chelsea during the summer, and is monitoring Kucka ahead of the January transfer window.
Nampalys Mendy was billed as Kante’s replacement but fitness issues have restricted the former Nice midfielder to just 53 minutes of Premier League action this season.
Kucka has completed more tackles in the last two Serie A campaigns than any other Milan player (90).
