Schalke starlet Leroy Sane has revealed his dream is to play for Barcelona.
Sane, 20, is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Europe and has previously been linked with a move to the Camp Nou.
The Germany international has been in and out of the Schalke first-team this season but looks destined for big things in the future and has openly voiced his desire to wear the Barcelona shirt one day.
“I think next season I will play at Schalke,” Sane told Bild, via 101 Great Goals. “Sometimes in the future I want to play abroad at an even bigger club than Schalke. Most of all at Barca – even as a little boy that was my dream club.”
Only three players have played a direct hand in more league goals across Europe’s top five leagues than Sane (11) of those aged 21 and under.
Not only that, but also only two players attempt more dribbles per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga this season than the Schalke starlet (7.7) from those to have made at least 10 appearances.
