Chelsea are sweating on the fitness of first choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois after hurting his right ankle again, reports the London Evening Standard.
Courtois missed Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat away to Manchester United last month after injuring his ankle during an advert shoot with the NBA on behalf of Chelsea.
The Belgium international returned between the sticks to feature in their 4-2 triumph over Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final but injured the same ankle in their win away to Everton on Sunday.
Courtois was seen limping during the second half but stayed on to play the full 90 minutes but the Real Madrid target is reportedly ready to play through the pain in a bid to help Chelsea wrap up the Premier League title.
Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table could be cut to just one point before they face Middlesbrough on Monday night, with Tottenham playing away to London rivals West Ham on Friday.
Only Hugo Lloris (15) has kept more clean sheets in the Premier League this season than Courtois (14).

Courtois is a top keeper. Too bad.
