One striker set to survive Milan shake up

AC Milan are planning to offer Carlos Bacca a new contract and sell the rest of their strike force, according to Corriere dello Sport, via Football Italia.

Head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is planning wholesale changes to his offensive options at the end of the season and watching his team fall short in their pre-season objectives.

While the likes of Mario Balotelli, Jeremy Menez and Keisuke Honda could all face the axe this summer, Milan are intent on keeping Bacca at the San Siro beyond the end of this season.

The Colombia international can be happy with his first season at the club and his performances have courted reported interest from Bayern Munich and Arsenal as a result.

Only Gonzalo Higuain (29) has scored more league goals than the Milan frontman in Serie A this season (14).
