Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande have confirmed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Paulinho on a 4-year deal.
The 26-year-old saw his playing limited at Tottenham last season having failed to settle at White Hart Lane on the back of his £17m switch to north London back in 2013.
Paulinho never truly established himself as a first-team regular, registering just 479 of a possible 3420 minutes in the Premier League under Mauricio Pochettino last season.
It is understood the Spurs will receive just shy of £10m from Guangzhou Evergrande for Paulinho, who played no part in Brazil’s Copa America campaign that came to an end against Paraguay in the early hours of Sunday morning.
