Pogba remains intent on leaving Manchester United

Paul Pogba has told his Manchester United team-mates he is still determinde to leave Manchester United this summer, claims the Manchester Evening News.

The France international has wanted out of United since the end of last season but the Red Devils blocked his departure in the summer.

Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has also been vocal in expressing his client's desire to move on and Bruno Fernandes' arrival last month could finally grant him his wish.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has repeatedly defended Pogba throughout the season and insists he remains committed to the club.

Pogba hasn't featured for United since Boxing Day and has made just seven Premier League appearances all season due to an ankle injury.

There have been suggestions Pogba has already played his final game for United but Solskjaer is adamant the midfielder is working hard to get back to full fitness.

It is in Pogba's best interests to get back playing as quickly as possible even if he doesn't want to be at United with the European Championships coming up at the end of the season.

Pogba is finally moving without a protective boot on his ankle but his return still remains a long way off.

Despite the fact his stock has diminished this season, Pogba has informed his United team-mates he still wants out and some believe a summer exit would be best for all concerned.

Pogba has created as many clear-cut goalscoring chances in seven league appearances this season as Jesse Lingard, who has featured in 20 league games (1).
