Tianjin Quanjin still tracking Chelsea striker

Tianjin Quanjin are still interested in signing Chelsea striker Diego Costa and are willing to offer him £32m-per-year in order to land the controversial striker, reports The Daily Mail.

Costa, 28, was heavily linked with a move to China at the start of the year but Chelsea refused to do any business for their star striker until the season had finished.

The Spain international has gone off the boil in recent months after putting Chelsea in a position of strength in the Premier League title race and now they are only four points clear of London rivals Tottenham.

Chelsea had planned to reward Costa with a new long-term deal earlier in the season but shelved talks after a training ground bust up around the time a move to China was mooted at the end of January.

Antonio Conte’s side are now planning to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea regardless of whether Costa stays or goes and the Chinese Super League outfit are ready to hand the striker a contract worth a stunning £620,000-a-week to lure him to the Far East.

Costa is only three goals shy of matching his best ever goal haul in the Premier League (20 in his debut season) but has only netted two goals in his last 10 league appearances and now only has six games remaining to do so.
