Chelsea have completed a deal to take Monaco forward Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan.
The 29-year-old was once one of the most revered strikers in world football until a knee injury ruled him out for the best part of six months at the start of 2014.
Falcao failed to recover in time for the World Cup later that year, before spending last season on loan at Manchester United where he failed to discover any sort of form. United unsurprisingly opted against making the deal permanent.
In 2012/13 Falcao converted 22.8% of his chances, compared to a measly 10.5% at United last season and now Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is tasked with the challenge of reinvigorating the Colombia international.
Predicting 10 goals all comps. Not worth it
Can't see him making an impact.
Risky transfer given his wages and injury history, but if they get him back fit he could be some signing
