Barcelona are plotting a move for Lazio attacker Antonio Candreva, reports El Mundo Deportivo.
The Blaugrana have been strongly linked with Celta Vigo star Nolito, who has enjoyed an impressive season so far.
However, the same paper suggests that Barcelona will move for Candreva should they fail to lure Nolito away from their La Liga rivals.
Candreva, 28, has endured an underwhelming season for Lazio so far, gaining a WhoScored rating of just 6.39 this campaign.
Barcelona will be able to sign players once more next month when their transfer ban comes to an end, with the priority on adding competition for front three Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Sebastian Giovinco had been linked with a move to Camp Nou, but the Italian has cooled talk of reports suggesting he is set for a switch to the Spanish champions.
