Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos has his heart set on a move to the Premier League, according to Gianluca di Marzio, via Get French Football.
Marquinhos, 21, is reported to be seriously considering his future at the Parc des Princes after finding it tough to get regular game time under Laurent Blanc this season.
Reports had emerged earlier in the week suggesting Barcelona had already agreed personal terms with the PSG defender, but the Brazilian is alleged to be dreaming of a move to the Premier League.
Marquinhos was regarded as one of the brightest young defenders on the continent when he made the £30m switch from Roma in 2013, but he has struggled to establish himself in the PSG team since and now looks destined to leave at the end of the season.
Only three players boast a greater pass success rate in the Ligue 1 this season than Marquinhos (92.7%), all of which are his PSG teammates, including David Luiz (92.9%) and Thiago Silva (94.5%), who are above Marquinhos in the pecking order to start at the heart of Blanc’s.
