Real Madrid are interested in signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane and are weighing up a blockbuster €200m (£177.3m) move next summer, reports Don Balon.
Kane has established himself as one of the best goalscorers in Europe this season and his sublime form over the last month has put him in the sights of Madrid.
Florentino Perez wants to revitalise Madrid’s forward options at the end of the season after missing out on teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe over the summer, with Juventus star Paulo Dybala and Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann also on the club's radar.
Another season plagued by injuries will only push Gareth Bale closer to leaving Madrid next summer, which would bankroll a third raid of Tottenham, this time for Kane.
The 24-year-old is currently the highest rated player in the Champions League this season (9.65) after scoring five goals and registering one assist in two matches. He also has six goals in seven league games this season – one behind leading scorer Romelu Lukaku.
