AC Milan’s move for Biglia stalls

Lucas Biglia’s proposed move from Lazio to AC Milan has stalled as neither team can agree on a fee, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Argentine midfielder is out of contract next summer and has verbally agreed to move to AC Milan.

However, the deal has reached a sticking point, with the two teams unable to reach an agreement for the transfer of the 31-year-old.

Lazio are demanding €25m for Biglia, with AC Milan unwilling to go over €20m to secure his services, with that bid the highest they will go for the player.

As things stand, Biglia will run down the final year of his contract before leaving the Rome side next summer on a free, though it remains to be seen whether AC Milan will retain their interest in the player.

Biglia averaged 3.1 tackles per game in Serie A last season - the third highest return - with AC Milan keen on taking the experienced Argentina international to San Siro as the club continues its recruitment drive.

AC Milan have already secured the services of Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez, Mateo Musacchio and Andre Silva this summer.
