Raheem Sterling has completed his £49m move to Manchester City after passing his medical.
Sterling, 20, becomes the most expensive U21 player of all time after penning a five-year deal with the two-time Premier League champions.
The England international is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Europe and it is a signing that excites manager Manuel Pellegrini.
"Raheem Sterling is one of the best attacking players in world football, and I am very much looking forward to him joining out squad out in Australia later this week," said Pellegrini on the capture on the City official website.
"He is a young player with outstanding ability, and I am sure the Manchester City fans will be very excited about seeing him in action for the team."
