Arsenal ready bid for Crystal Palace star Zaha

Arsenal want to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer, claims The Sun.

Zaha has told Palace he wants to leave the club to play in the Champions League.

Palace accept that Zaha has outgrown Selhurst Park but will not let the Ivory Coast international go on the cheap.

The Eagles have reportedly slapped an £80m valuation on Zaha’s head and the 26-year-old is concerned he will be price out of a move away.

Arsenal have no interest in matching Palace’s demands and will instead test their resolve with a £40m bid this summer.

The Gunners finished outside the top four this season but will qualify for next season’s Champions League if they beat Chelsea in the Europa League final at the end of the month.

Zaha finished the campaign with 10 goals in a Premier League season for the first time in his career, while only Eden Hazard (137) completed more dribbles than the Palace whizz (114).
