Everton planning double raid on Premier League duo

Sam Allardyce is keen to bolster his squad further following the signing of Cenk Tosun and has earmarked two Premier League stars as targets this month, according to The Mirror.

Everton are thought to be keen to bolster their options in both defence and midfield and have been linked with moves for Swansea City’s Alfie Mawson and Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Reports claim that Mawson is valued at £25m by the Premier League’s bottom club, and he has certainly proven to be an important player for the Swans, playing every single league minute available in the 2017 calendar year.

Doucoure, meanwhile, has emerged as a real star turn at Vicarage Road since Marco Silva’s appointment having only played a peripheral role last season.
