Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez would favour a move to Manchester United if he leaves he Champions League finalists in the summer, according to ESPN.
Rodriguez, 24, has dropped down the pecking order at Madrid this season and has struggled to play any part in their campaign since the turn of the year.
The Colombia international arrived at Madrid after starring in the 2014 World Cup but has been linked with a high profile switch to Chelsea and United in recent months.
However, the former Monaco ace is reportedly leaning towards a move to United if his career at Madrid is to end at the end of the season.
Since the start of last season no player to have made at least five appearances in La Liga has required fewer minutes per key pass than Rodriguez (27.7 mins).
