Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is in Milan and set for his Juventus medical, according to SportItalia, via Football Italia.
Darmian has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus in the last 12 months after dropping completely out of favour under Jose Mourinho.
The Italy international has struggled to adapt to English football since signing for United from Torino in 2015.
Mourinho wants to sign at least two full backs this summer, offsetting Darmian’s return to Italy.
The 28-year-old is current in Italy to put the finishing touches on his move to Juventus, in a deal that will reportedly cost €12m (£10.5m).
Darmian only started seven matches across league and European competition for United last season.
Since joining United, the Red Devils have a far superior win ratio in the Premier League when Darmian has not started (58.6%) compared to when he has featured from the off (47.7%).
