PSG ready tempting offer for wantaway Manchester United midfielder

PSG are readying a tempting offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, with the French side looking to bring the 2018 World Cup winner to Paris, and they are prepared to include former United attacker Angel Di Maria to help sweeten the deal, reports The Mail on Sunday. 

Pogba is widely expected to leave Old Trafford this summer following a season blighted by injuries, with Real Madrid and former employers Juventus considering moves for the Frenchman. 

However, PSG are hopeful they can strike a deal with United for the 27-year-old, who has made just seven Premier League appearances this season. 

And the Parisian powerhouse are willing to throw in Di Maria as part of the offer to drive Pogba's price down and convince United to do a deal with the Ligue 1 champions. 

Di Maria endured a difficult solitary season with United in 2014/15 following his high profile arrival from Real Madrid, during which he scored three goals and provided 10 assists. 

The 32-year-old has excelled in Ligue 1 this season, though, netting eight times and providing 14 assists to return a WhoScored rating of 7.72. 

Pogba, who was born in the eastern suberbs of Paris, may consider a return to France rather than move to Madrid or Turin in a bid to ply his trade in a new league.
