PSG president rules out move for Madrid star

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has ruled out a move for Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez this summer.

Rodriguez, 24, has been heavily linked with a move away from Madrid since the end of last season and there had been reports suggesting the Ligue 1 champions had held talks with the Colombia international regarding a summer switch to France.

PSG have already signed Hatem Ben Arfa and Grzegorz Krychowiak this summer but Al-Khelaifi has denied the club hold an interest in Rodriguez.

“It’s true that we have not spoken to James,” he is quoted as saying by Spanish newspaper Marca.
