Dybala poised to extend contract

Paulo Dybala is on the verge of extending his contract with Juventus keeping him at the club until 2021, reports Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia.

The 23-year-old, who hasn’t featured for Juventus since picking up an injury in Juventus’ 1-0 defeat to AC Milan over a month ago, still has four years remaining on the existing deal he signed when he joined from Palermo in 2015.

Dybala has been linked with a move to Barcelona since dazzling during his maiden campaign with the Serie A champions and Max Allegri’s side are looking to quash rumours with an additional 12-month contract extension and almost a double in his annual salary.

Juventus have no intention of selling Dybala and have reportedly not included a release clause in his new deal, which will be made official imminently.

Since the start of last season Dybala has scored at least nine more goals than any other Juventus player in Serie A (22), while no active teammate has registered more assists (11).
