Southampton are on the verge of making their first signing of the summer after agreeing an £11m fee with Norwich City for Nathan Redmond, reports The Daily Mirror.
Despite being managerless following Ronald Koeman’s departure to Everton, Southampton are pressing ahead with plans for the new season.
Redmond, 22, is currently on holiday and will undergo a medical when he returns after choosing a move to St. Mary’s over Stoke and West Brom.
The England Under-21 international’s impending arrival has thrown fresh doubts over the long-term future of Sadio Mane at Southampton, with the pacey forward now expected to leave this summer for a bigger club.
No Norwich player completed more dribbles in the Premier League last season than Redmond (59).
