Liverpool ace adds to Klopp’s injury concerns

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is ruled out of Saturday’s clash with Huddersfield with an abductor strain and may not return until after the international break, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Jurgen Klopp is already unable to call on Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane but his injury concerns have worsened with news Coutinho may miss Liverpool’s next three matches.

Liverpool face Huddersfield on Saturday where Klopp will face off against best friend David Wagner for the first time and the Liverpool boss is under huge pressure following their 4-1 defeat to Tottenham last weekend.

Liverpool ace adds to Klopp’s injury concerns

Liverpool face Maribor in the Champions League next week before travelling to London to face West Ham and Coutinho is a huge doubt for both matches.

The Brazil international has played a direct hand in three goals in five Premier League matches this season, while only Harry Kane (6.3) and Paul Pogba (4.3) average more shots per game than the Liverpool No.10 (4.2).
