Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha will see a specialist on Tuesday to discover the extent of the knee injury suffered against Newcastle at the weekend, reports The Guardian.
Zaha picked up the knee injury during the first half of Sunday’s 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle but managed to complete the 90 minutes as Roy Hodgson’s side extended their gap above the relegation zone to three points.
The Ivory Coast international went for a scan on Monday and now Palace will send their star man to see a specialist amid fears the 25-year-old faces a long spell on the sidelines.
Hodgson’s side anticipate Zaha will be out for at least four weeks but it could be much longer than that if their worst fears are confirmed, which would be a huge blow in their bid to beat the drop.

Zaha missed eight games at the start of the season with a knee injury and Palace lost six Premier League matches in that time without scoring a single goal.
In fact, Palace have only won Premier League matches this season when Zaha has started.
