Tottenham have announced Harry Kane has put pen to paper on a new five-and-a-half-year deal keeping him at the club until at least 2022.
There had been some uncertainty over Kane’s long-term future at the club after hitting a stumbling block over wage demands during negotiations.
The 23-year-old, however, has agreed terms with Tottenham and signed a bumper new deal to make him the best-paid player in the club’s history, which has extended his stay at Spurs by a further two years on his previous deal.
It means that Kane is reportedly set to become the first Tottenham player to earn in excess of £100,000-a-week, despite the fact Daniel Levy was previously unwilling to set such precedent.
Only Sergio Aguero (60) has scored more goals in the last three Premier League seasons than Kane (51).
