Ligue 1's second best finisher trades clubs in France
Enzo Crivelli has completed a move from Bordeaux to Ligue 1 counterparts Angers, the club’s official website confirmed on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old striker spent last season on loan at relegated Bastia but despite being able to help the club avoid the drop Crivelli did weigh in with 10 goals in just 23 league appearances.
His solid goal was not only twice that of any teammate but also more than any Angers player in the previous campaign, with the club already having added Belgian striker Baptiste Guillaume to their attacking ranks this summer.
Moreover, the forward’s ability to hold up play will be an asset next season, ranking among the top five players for aerial duels won in Ligue 1 last time out (4.9 per game).
Meanwhile a conversion rate of 31.3% was the second best of all players to reach double figures in France’s top tier, so Angers’ capture of the youngster on a four-year deal could prove a real coup.
