AC Milan have stepped up their interest in Nice forward Hatem Ben Arfa ahead of a January move for the France international, reports Get French Football.
Ben Arfa, 28, has been in sublime form since returning to Ligue 1 this season and has courted reported interest from a variety of clubs.
However, Milan have seemingly jumped to the front of the queue for his signature after making contact with Ben Arfa’s representatives over a January move.
The report claims Ben Arfa is settled and only focused on football with Nice at the moment and would prefer to remain at the club until the end of the season.
Since the start of the season, Ben Arfa has completed at least nine more dribbles than any other player in Ligue 1 (65).
