Manchester City are the latest side to be credited with an interest in Leicester striker Jamie Vardy and, according to The Sun, could table a £30m bid for the England international next month.
Vardy has been in fine form for the Foxes this season, netting more goals (15) than any other player in the Premier League. In Europe's top 5 leagues, only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (18) and Gonzalo Higuain (16) have bagged more.
His goalscoring exploits have attracted the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea, while City are the latest to supposedly join the hunt to secure the services of the 28-year-old.
Any move for Vardy would significantly weaken one of City's main title rivals and bolster the club's injury prone attack.
Leciester, though, are keen to ward off any interest in their star striker and are prepared to offer Vardy a double-your-money-contract.
The Foxes are also under no pressure to sell the Englishman, who has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current deal, however City may test their resolve with a big money bid when the transfer window reopens.
