Watford have completed a deal to sign Udinese striker Matej Vydra on a permanent deal, the club have announced.
Vydra, 23, has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Vicarage Road after impressing during two loan spells with the Hornets and the Czech Republic international has become the club’s third signing of the summer.
He scored 16 goals in 31 starts in the Championship last season and was a key component to a Watford attack that scored 91 goals in the league – only Bournemouth scored more (98).
