Bologna have announced they have signed Simone Verdi from AC Milan.
Verdi, 23, spent last season on loan with Carpi but has completed a permanent switch to Bologna.
The club will officially present the former Italy Under-21 international at their training ground on Tuesday afternoon.
Of players that scored at least one goal in Serie A last season, only Francesco Totti (77.2 mins) and Gonzalo Higuain (82.7 mins) required fewer minutes per goal than Verdi (90.7 mins).
