Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede is undergoing his medical at Aston Villa, according to Sky Sports News.
Gestede, 26, has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs this summer following an impressive campaign in the Championship last season and it has been suggested that the move will cost Villa an initial £6m.
The Benin international has been named in WhoScored’s statistically calculated Championship team of the season in both of the last two campaigns and no player scored more headed goals in England’s second-tier last season than the Blackburn striker (9).
