Liverpool and Tottenham are watching the progress of rising Championship star James Maddison, claims The Daily Mirror.
Maddison has only spent the last two years at Norwich after joining the Canaries from Coventry at the start of 2016 but his stock has risen considerably since then.
The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest talents emerging from the Championship and Norwich face a real struggle to keep hold of their gem going forward.
Alex Pritchard’s £11m move to Huddersfield on Friday almost certainly means Maddison will stay at Norwich until the end of the season but Premier League clubs will continue to monitor his progress.
Liverpool and Tottenham are the most notable top-flight sides interested in Maddison but Southampton are tracking the Norwich starlet with a view to making a move.
Maddison has scored six goals and registered five assists in 22 Championship starts for Norwich this season. Not only has he created the most goalscoring opportunities in the division (65), but he has also been fouled the most times (90).
