West Ham co-chairman David Gold fears star left-back Aaron Cresswell could be ruled out for six months with a knee injury, according to the London Evening Standard.
Cresswell, 26, injured his knee in a challenge during West Ham’s 3-0 win over Karlshruher on Saturday before immediately calling for attention.
Winston Reid and Mark Noble were furious with the challenge as tempers got the better of them and Slaven Bilic was left disappointed in the match following Cresswell’s injury.
In the last two Premier League campaigns Cresswell has featured in more minutes than any other player (6,735).
