Tottenham to revive interest in Spanish striker

Tottenham are thought to be back on the trail of young Spain striker Sandro Ramirez, reports the Sunday Mirror.

Spurs have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old in the last two transfer windows and could revive their interest in the youngster in the New Year.

Sandro opted to sign for Malaga last summer following his Barcelona exit and penned a three-year deal for the Spanish side, who are managed by former Spurs boss Juande Ramos.

The north London side could return for Sandro in January as they look to bolster their attack, however.

Spurs missed Harry Kane’s goals during his enforced absence through injury and with Vincent Janssen struggling in front of goal, Mauricio Pochettino could move for the Spaniard when the transfer window opens to increase competition for starting spots in the final third.

Sandro hasn’t exactly set the world alight following his move to Malaga, but has scored five goals in 12 league appearances for the La Liga outfit, a respectable return for a side that has just 17 goals to their name in Spain’s top tier this term.
