Perisic’s agent meets Manchester United manager

The agent of Ivan Perisic dropped in at Manchester United to warn Jose Mourinho they are running out of time to sign his client, claims FCInterNews, via Football Italia.

United have been heavily linked with a move for Perisic all summer but talks have cooled since mid-July after the Croatia international jetted off to Asia for Inter’s pre-season tour.

Mourinho’s side have failed to convince Inter to reduce their €55m valuation for Perisic and the 28-year-old now looks set to sign a new contract with the club.

Perisic is keen to join United this summer and his agent, Fali Ramadani, was reportedly in Manchester on Thursday to find out the club’s intentions for the remainder of the window before his client signs a renewal.

Only two Serie A players attempted more crosses (excluding corners) than Perisic (198) last season.
