West Ham have announced Robert Snodgrass has signed a new one-year contract extension until the summer of 2021.
The 31-year-old only had 12 months left to run on his previous deal and West Ham have moved to end any uncertainty about his future this summer.
Snodgrass has spent the last two-and-a-half years at West Ham after signing from Hull in January 2017 for a £10.2m fee.
The Scotland international has been a mainstay in the team ever since and remained a regular in Manuel Pellegrini's first year at the club despite huge competition for places.
Snodgrass faces an even tougher test to keep his place in the team next season following Pablo Fornals’ arrival but West Ham have secured his future for the next two years.
“I’m delighted to commit my future to this great club,” he told the club’s official website.
“Sometimes you get a chance to play for that one club that’s special, going through that special time, and I believe at this moment that’s West Ham. We’re trying our best to keep progressing and keep moving forward.”
Snodgrass played a direct hand in seven goals in 33 league appearances last season (two goals, five assists) and won the WhoScored Man of the Match award three times in that spell.
