France international has no intention of joining West Ham
West Ham United may be forced to look at alternative strikers following news Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has no intention of joining them this summer, reports Get French Football.
Lacazette, 24, is widely expected to leave Lyon this summer but only intends to join a club that can offer Champions League football and it is for that reason that Lyon rejected a reported €40m (£30m) offer from West Ham earlier this month.
The France international, who was left out of Didier Deschamps’ squad for the Euros next month, has instead been touted as a possible candidate to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain, while Tottenham are also interested in his services.
Barcelona were another team to express an interest in the Lyon striker but he knocked back their advances in search of regular first-team football.
Only Ibrahimovic (83) has scored more goals in Ligue 1 than Lacazette since August 2012 (66).
