Barcelona’s international sporting director Ariedo Braida insists the club will not let goalkeeper Claudio Bravo leave the club.
Bravo, 32, has started in 46 of Barcelona’s 50 league games since joining from Real Sociedad at the start of last season, but Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has been preferred in goal for Champions League and Copa del Rey matches.
The Chile international hasn’t featured at all in European competition and there have been suggestions he will force a move away in order to find Champions League football.
However, Barcelona will not entertain any thought of his departure, according to Braida.
“He [Bravo] is not in the market, nor are we listening to offers for him” he told Chilean newspaper El Mercurio.
“He is one of our stars and is not going anywhere, he will not move from the club.”
Since the start of last season, no goalkeeper has kept as many clean sheets across Europe’s top five leagues than Bravo (28).
