Arsene Wenger has lavished praise on Leicester midfielder N'Golo Kante, heightening speculation that a move is on the cards.
Kante is widely expected to leave the Foxes this summer following a superb debut campaign in England, having played a star role in Leicester's Premier League title win.
A host of teams across the continent have been linked with the tough tackling midfielder, with Kante making more tackles (175) than any other player in Europe's top five leagues last season.
And now Wenger has all but confirmed the Gunners' interest in the 25-year-old, telling beINSports via TEAMtalk: “I admire and like N’Golo Kante a lot – it gives you ideas.
“He gives you the feeling that the higher the level he plays at, the more at ease he is. We are talking about numbers. He has the most interceptions (156) in Europe and by far.
“He has incredible quality. He feels the game, only very few people can do that. He’s always where he needs to be. It is very rare to have that in the central midfielder. Not always orthodox, but always in the right place.”

Lol, can Wenger not praise a player and not want to sign him? I'm sure he's praised Messi in the past, but I doubt he's working on a deal to sign him. What's more, Wenger made these comments while discussing France's Euro squad, was he supposed to remain mum when it came to Kante?
