Bournemouth have rejected an offer, believed to be £13m, from West Ham for striker Josh King, reports Sky Sports.
King has been linked with an immediate return to the Premier League following the Cherries' relegation and Jason Tindall won't stand in the way of the Norwegian's exit should they receive an acceptable offer for the forward.
Aston Villa and Everton have been linked with a move for King, but West Ham are reported to have been the first side to make a move for the Norway international.
King is in the final year of his contract and having played just 23 minutes of league action, it seems as though Bournemouth are planning for life without the 28-year-old.
The domestic transfer window remains open until 5pm on October 16th, so West Ham aren't pressed to strike a deal with Bournemouth for King.
However, they would need to up their initial offer for the frontman to closer to £18m should they wish to sign King before next weekend.
Bournemouth have sold a number of their big name stars, including Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson for Manchester City and Newcastle respectively this summer, while Ryan Fraser has also left the club for the Magpies.
