Paris Saint-Germain midfielder isolated at the club

Grzegorz Krychowiak’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is in doubt with the central midfielder becoming increasingly isolated at the club, reports Le Parisien, via Get French Football.

The Poland international followed manager Unai Emery from Sevilla to PSG last summer but has endured a difficult first season with the Ligue 1 giants and is already considering a move away at the end of the season.

Members of the PSG squad were reportedly unhappy when Emery turned to Krychowiak towards the end of their humiliating 6-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League having spent the week’s building up that match regaining match fitness with the reserves.

Injuries and poor form has made for a seriously underwhelming season for the former Sevilla ace, which is surprising given how well the midfielder partnered with Emery back in Spain.

The 27-year-old has only managed seven league starts this season, although a pass success rate of 92.8% is among the top four players still at the club.
