Arsenal have set a remarkably low price tag for Chelsea target Aubameyang
Arsenal are asking for just £30m to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a permanent basis this summer, claims The Sun.
Aubameyang will only have 12 months left to run on his current contract this summer and does not want to renew with the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta has reluctantly decided to cash in on the 30-year-old at the end of the season rather than lose him for nothing next year.
Arsenal will then use the money raised from Aubameyang's departure to bolster Arteta's squad but they are only demanding £30m for their captain.
Manchester United and Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Aubameyang already in recent weeks and a £30m valuation is well within both of their transfer budgets.
Aubameyang has been a goalscoring machine ever since joining Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.
In fact, only Mohamed Salah (51) has scored more Premier League goals than Aubameyang (49) since his made his debut in the competition for Arsenal.
