Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has denied a falling out with star striker Paulo Dybala.
The Argentina international was unhappy at being substituted during Juventus’ 6-2 win over Udinese at the weekend and appeared to insult Allegri while on the bench.
Falling out with players seems to be a running theme with Allegri at Juventus but the Italian has refuted claims there are any problems between the pair.
“There is no problem,” Goal quote Allegri as saying. “At that moment [against Udinese] I need a player who could counter-attack and substitutions are part of the decisions a coach has to make.
“These strikers have always scored goals and always will. Everyone has a moment where they don’t find the net for three or four games. The important thing is to keep doing the usual performances.”
Dybala has now gone 363 minutes of action without scoring for Juventus in all competitions, but the 23-year-old has still scored 10 goals in nine league appearances this term, such his electric start to the campaign.
In fact, only four players have scored more goals in Europe’s top five leagues than the Juventus No.10.
