West Ham are in talks with Aston Villa for Micah Richards, according to The Daily Mail.
Richards, 28, only joined Villa from Manchester City last summer but the former England international’s arrival failed to have the desired effect.
The versatile defender, however, could be set for another crack in the Premier League with West Ham keen to add depth to their current defensive options.
Richards has yet to make an appearance in the league this season having featured in 24 league games last term. Only Joleon Lescott (176) made more clearances for Villa in that period than Richards (142).
