Juventus striker to force January move

Several Premier League clubs have been put on high alert following news that Simone Zaza will look to force through a move away from Juventus in January, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.

Zaza, 24, is desperate for regular first-team football with one eye on the Euro’s next summer and will find that hard to come by at Juventus competing for places against Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata.

Juventus manager Max Allegri told reporters Zaza wouldn’t be able to leave in January after their Coppa Italia win in midweek, but the Italy international is reportedly still hopeful of a move with the likes of West Ham and Crystal Palace all suggested to be interested in his services.

The former Sassuolo striker has been restricted to just two starts in Serie A this season, but still has two goals to his name and only Dybala (129.4 mins) has required fewer minutes per goal in the league than Zaza (142 mins) of all Juventus players this season.
