Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao has refused to rule out a move to MLS as his loan spell at Stamford Bridge comes to a close.
Falcao, 30, was once considered the best striker on the planet but injuries have ruined his career in the last few years.
The Colombia international has spent two unsuccessful campaigns in the Premier League and Chelsea are not expected to make his loan switch from Monaco permanent at the end of the season, casting a doubt over his long-term future.
While Falcao is focused on resurrecting his playing career in Europe, the aging striker has left the door open to a switch to America in the future.
“Some other Colombian players are playing in Major League Soccer and obviously the big stars like Andrea Pirlo, Kaka and Giovani dos Santos.
“I never say no but in this moment I am thinking about Europe and my performances here,” he told NBC’s ProSoccerTalk, via Sky Sports. “I think I have more years to fight in these leagues.”
Falcao has only managed 228 minutes of football in the Premier League this season and his 14-minute cameo against Swansea a fortnight ago was his first appearance since October.
