Inter are in talks with Udinese to sign star creator Rodrigo de Paul at the end of the season, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.
De Paul has been a revelation for Udinese over the last 12 months and his performances have caught the attention of Inter.
Luciano Spalletti is working to overhaul the club’s offensive options and De Paul has emerged as a top transfer target for the Serie A giants.
While edging closer to a deal with Diego Godin, Inter also have their sights on the future and De Paul fits their vision.
Udinese are hoping to command up to €30m (£26.9m) for the Argentina international, though Inter’s pursuit may hinge on whether they secure Champions League football for next season.
De Paul has played a direct hand in nine league goals this season (six goals, three assists) and is clearly Udinese’s highest WhoScored rated player in Serie A (7.29).
Furthermore, only Alejandro Gomez (56) and Suso (55) have registered more key passes than De Paul (45) in Serie A this term.
