Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew insists he wants striker Emmanuel Adebayor to remain the club, reports the Metro.
The Togolese frontman moved to Selhurst Park at the turn of the year, but netted just one goal in 12 Premier League appearances for the Eagles.
His poor form had led to suggestions that Adebayor could be on the move again this summer, but Pardew insists he wants to keep the 31-year-old at the south London side.
"For me and Ade his relationship has been really sound. I know there are some quotes that have been assoicated with Ade this week that he won't stay, but I haven't had those discussions with him," Pardew said.
"I'll sit down with him at the end of the year, shake his hand and see where we both want to go. Of course he has numerous options so we won't be the only one."
