Swansea look to bolster attack line

Swansea are set to launch an ambitious bid for Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa, reports the Telegraph.

The Swans are bracing themselves for the possible exits of attackers Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis, with Ulloa high the club’s wish list should the pair depart for pastures new.

It is thought the Argentine would set Swansea back £10m should they pursue their interest in Ulloa, who arrived from Brighton two years ago.

Leicester’s signing of Ahmed Musa from from CSKA Moscow for a club-record £16m has threatened to push the 29-year-old further down the pecking order at the King Power Stadium.

Ulloa made only seven Premier League starts last season and is keen for regular game time, which looks increasingly unlikely for Leicester.

He bagged a brace in Leicester’s 4-0 win over Swansea back in April and netted six times in the league overall in the Foxes’ Premier League title win.
